A family of similarity measures for q?rung orthopair fuzzy sets and their applications to multiple criteria decision making

One worthwhile way of expressing imprecise information is the q-rung orthopair fuzzy sets (q-ROFSs), which extend intuitionistic and Pythagorean sets. The main goal this contribution to further concept similarity measure for q-ROFSs, not only endows framework with more ability create new ones but also inherits all essential properties a logical measure. This proposes class novel measures q-ROFSs by drawing general existing q-ROFS distance measures. These enable us overcome theoretical drawbacks in case where they are used individually. In application part contribution, pattern recognition problem on classification building materials number known reconsidered. study particular shows that proposed family consistently classify unknown material same pattern. Then, an experimental regarding classroom teaching quality re-examined comparison performance against ones. salient features qROFS measures, as follows: (i) inherently correlation coefficients, satisfy limited comprehensive measure; (ii) several lead sometimes nonlogical results, specifically, maximum value different q-ROFSs; (iii) variety depend subjective parameters, either hinder their practice or increase computational cost. brief, following direction research, we will prove superiority developed over from both viewpoints.
